Class Descriptions

Preschool Gymnastics - 2 to 5 years old

This class is designed to help stimulate motor development in young children. The gymnasts will be given the opportunity to learn basic gymnastics skills on all four competitive events of gymnastics and the trampoline. This is an action-packed, fun class! The classes are divided as follows:
2-3 years old
4-5 years old

Beginner Gymnastics - 6 years and older

This class is designed to expose children to all four competitive events of gymnastics. The gymnasts will be given the opportunity to learn basic skills on all four events. They are always being evaluated for the possibility of moving to the intermediate level. The classes are divided as follows:
6-9 years old
10 & older

Intermediate Gymnastics - 6 years and older

This class is designed to expose the experienced beginner gymnast to more advanced skills on all four competitive events of gymnastics. They are always being evaluated for the possibility of moving to Level 3.
Required Skills: Cartwheel, Round-off, Handstand & Pull-Over (Level 2)

Cheernastics - 8 years and older

This class is designed to prepare children for middle school, high school, and allstar cheerleader try-outs. This class teaches beginner tumbling, motions, jumps, and cheers.

Beginnner Tumbling/Back Handspring Class
6 years and older

This class is designed to teach floor tumbling only from the beginner to intermediate level. The focus of this class is to teach the standing back handspring and round-off back handspring. This class only teaches up to a back handspring with one spot.

Advanced Tumbling - 6 years and older

This class is designed to teach floor tumbling only from the intermediate to advanced level.
Required Skill: Standing back handspring with one spot.

Hot Shots - By Invitation Only

This level of gymnastics is by invitation only. At this level, each gymnast has the opportunity to be involved in a class learning more advanced gymnastics skills on all four competitive events.

Team Gymnastics - By Invitation OnlyUSAG

This level of gymnastics is by invitation only, typically from the Hot Shots class. At this level, all gymnasts compete in USAG sanctioned competitions. This level of gymnastics is divided into teams beginning with Level 3.

Competitive All-Star Cheerleading

These squads compete once per month between November and May. Other fees may apply. The squads are divided as follows:
Grades 9-12 (Ages 14-18)
Grades 1-5 (Ages 6-10)
Grades 6-8 (Ages 11-13)

Summer Camps

Summer camps are designed for each level of gymnastics from beginner through Level 3 as well as for the cheerleader or child wanting to learn or perfect their back handspring. These camps are focused on the skills needed to progress to the next level of gymnastics.
